I am usually very suspicious of judging a case solely on evidence supplied by the media, no matter what the crime. Very rarely are ALL facts found anywhere other than the court case itself. Not only should cases not be dealt with by emotions, but by examing the punishments handed out in similar cases. that way there can be no possible accusations of ‘trial by media’ OR ‘ he got away with it because he’s famous’’.

My concern is that future variants of Covid will perhaps not be detected by somewhat out of date testing kits. There has been no update to the testing kits for a while now. in my current job im liaising with all the care homes in this area and there have been massive outbreaks in some of them- one of them experiencing 61 cases of Covid with 21 of them being staff yet NO reported deaths or hospitalizations. So you have to ask, are the current isolation protocols out of touch with the severity of the strains we have atm? or are the scientists warning us that more severe strains are on their way? Either way, Covid appears to be here to stay.
