I wanted to see more from Riccy P. From everyone else too. Surely it’s too early for them to have given up on Cooper. Re: tactics and Maresca/ cooper. I suppose it’s like giving someone a Ferrari to drive for a year and then expecting them to be happy with a Ford Cortina after.

his man pulled inside and into the gap vacated by faes. There’s only so far you’re supposed to track someone. We employ zonal marking not man to man.. ( there was also a second and third person out wide down his side) if anyone should have been covering for Faes it should have been Winks dropping in… and I noticed Winks let him skip past him yet he gets a free ride on all this..

You can’t beat a good game of Risk, if that’s what you mean by a table too war game..

it wasn’t Justin out of position for their goal, it was Faes. He was out wider than Justin was. They saw the gap and exploited it. They did the exact same thing in the 4th minute too, oldest trick in the book. Pull the CB out of position and exploit the gap. Then the one scrambling to cover the gap gets the blame.
