This is a true story.. I used to be a manager for a home that had adults with learning disabilities.. one chap bless him was also partially deaf.. it was a Saturday evening and I came in to the living room and they were watching tv . I sat down and I saw that it was “ an audience with…” and this particular one was with the Beegees. So they talked for a few minutes and then got up to play a song. Guitar started playing and instantly I knew the song, of course. I turned to the partially deaf chap next to me and said “ this one’s called staying alive” he said “ what?” So I repeated “ STAYING ALIVE!” he replied with “ ooh good idea, that!”
