Pretty much like any fanbase then. Some of our fans are happy to sing about Brian Clough being dead but are the first to moan when opposition fans sing about Vichai.

People say refs but then sit at games and sing how bad the ref is, or even post about the referee before the game even takes place. There has been to much emphasis on referees for the past 15/20 years or so, probably even more. Refereeing is a hard job and the game is fast now, too fast. I would also say people around me in the stands boo decisions that turn out to be right half the time watching the highlights back.

I work shifts so my wake up time changes really. My phone is left on the floor though, I check the time on it if I get up in the night or if I wake up earlier than the alarm.

I am not surprised given how successful they have been in history but that doesn't mean they have local fans too, and they will have a lot. In the future your stat will probably change to Manchester City Every time we play them away from home I see more of their fans pile out of Piccadilly than I do when we play Man Utd.

Yes many a time. The majority of the Kop will be Scousers, the main stand has a fair share of day trippers of course. Same as Old Trafford, same as Etihad, same as Stamford Bridge.

"Most Liverpool fans are not scousers" is such a lazy comment. They have a big fan base but most regular match going Liverpool fans are scousers.

Yeah, I get it when a Manchester club does it because of the Liverpool/Manchester hatred but after that it's so boring.

I do feel for McCartney in that sense. He's lived 40 years longer than John Lennon now and often comes up against the whole "but John did this". I'm guessing that has happened Lennon's death. Yet Paul was actually there, he was in the band, he wrote the songs too. I know McCartney can be petty as well but when Lennon was alive so was he, as you say.

I thought the same thing. I think there was only one time he gave the ball away when Winks closed in. He's always seemed to be one of those goalkeepers that will either be brilliant or make a mistake.

Probably, Maguire gets the same thing when he goes there.

Looking good now, hopefully win the league and then I would hope be able to compete in League Two next season. Paul Cook walked past me in the street last week, when I was walking to work, which was strange. He's a good manager at lower league level which is why I have confidence they will be able to compete if they go up.

Haven’t played Man City yet. A lucky decision got them a win over Liverpool. Played all the newly promoted teams so far as well. Over the course of a season they will not be as strong as Liverpool. As always, everything is easy when you’re winning, it’s the real test of a manager when a team loses one (or a couple in a row).

I said at the time, best save I’ve seen all season and probably the best save I’ll see all season.

Never gonna get a result there but very proud that town managed to get to the FA Cup first round. Brilliant to see Ramsgate and Scarborough still in the draw.

Thought he was alright first half. Second half seemed to lose it a bit. Didn’t help Leeds players were staying down after every challenge.

And if that was us yesterday the same people would be saying how shit it was. Still haven’t been impressed with an away following yet in terms of vocal support and just shows how bad it is generally and not just us. Numbers of course the likes of Leeds and Sunderland were always gonna be the best this season.
