  1. I like our style when we're going for it, a lot of the time this season we've been going at teams fast paced, but first half yesterday was slow and everything went back. It's okay to criticise and say we were poor, despite being top of the league, no team in the World are perfect every game. Atmosphere was poor though. Family Stand looked empty on about 80 mins as well.
  2. I go confident but we always seem to struggle at Hillsborough. I think Wednesday will be my 10th visit and I've only seen 3 wins there.
  3. Wait to see what happens this season first.
  4. Drinkwater was always good for us, even in 16/17 he was one of few players that could hold their head up high, I never considered he "downed tools". The way he left was shocking but his performances never dropped prior to that. Mahrez went on a sulk but I wouldn't say he "downed tools" on the pitch, he still scored 12 league goals and ended up being our second highest goalscorer that season.
  5. That one at Charlton was always my favourite of his but could he hit a ball alright!
  6. Of course, Southampton, Kevin Phillips scored a screamer. Didn't Ambrose score late on two seasons running against us Pretty sure he scored against us for Ipswich the season before.
  7. Wolves and Middlesbrough we threw away. Got back into games at Leeds (one of my favourite ever Izzet goals that game) and Spurs and threw them away too. Maybe even Everton away too.
  8. "YouTuber". Says it all.
  9. You'd have that little showpony in our team though, any day of the week.
  10. Actually it’s gone very slow now. Must be dying out so I’m gonna leave it and not annoy my girlfriend anymore Cheers for your help lads @jgtuk @Zear0
  11. Dried which bits? I’ve had the knobs off and cleaned down that bit. Haven’t touched the igniter bit though? which part? I’ve just tried blowing onto two of the igniters. Tbf has slowed down a bit but not sure if that’s my mind now.
  12. Gas cooker keeps clicking as if it’s trying to ignite. Anyone had this before? Coincides with me cleaning it and I’ve read online it might be damp causing this?

I picked up a nice Monkees EP the other week for £3. Cleaned a little but plays great now. I'm A Believer / Last Train To Clarkesville / Daydream Believer / A Little Bit Of Me
  14. Elton John, 'Step Into Christmas', always my favourite. But if I had to pick a song to define Christmas then I'd pick Wizzard 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' which is also brilliant.
  15. I always liked Nottingham as a night out but I think I always felt on edge there more than anywhere else I've been at night. edit: Northampton is up there as well actually. Went once. Never again.
  16. 02/03 was incredible tbf. He put up with administraton, not being able to stay in hotels, players taking pay cuts and having to sell the more valued assets. I will always admire Adams for winning promotion with all that against him. Though, that season coincidences when I started going to games regular too so deep down I know there's part of me that nostalgic about that season.
  17. I can't remember back then our squad in comparison to other teams but losing Izzet was obviously the big blow.
  18. Horsham reinstated into FA Cup. Admin error on Barnsley’s part and they played an ilegible player.
  19. Sad reading that. Adams did an unbelivable job in a terrible period and then had to work in the PL with basically nothing. And then we only just went down really, when you consider how many leads we threw away we should have stayed up. I remember the start of 04/05 and the Brighton result being poor at that time but looking back, as I can't recall all the results aside from West Ham and Derby ( ) it's a fairly steady start. West Ham, Derby, Wolves, Sheffield United all within the first 8 games was tough then. That period was terrible of course all coupled with terrible recruitment, though of course Adams didn't have much to play with. I remember not liking Chris Makin at all. Blake was awful too, and Keown. 500k on Connolly was probably the best transfer we did in years (I did like Thatcher the year before but we made a loss on him).
  20. Not a surprise but ugly scenes last night following Argentina's win in Brazil.
  21. This mentality makes me laugh though. Especially when it's the same club that wanted us punished in 02/03. Sheffield United ended up playing Wigan last game of the season, at home, and lost 2-1 (Wigan finished 17th, Sheffield United 18th). Sheffield United went down on goal difference. Goal difference. Yes West Ham played with illegal players, especially Tevez who became so influential, but if Sheffield United were good enough to stay up then they'd have beaten Wigan on the very last day and stayed up.
  22. If they were any good at the important topics then is country wouldn't be such a wretched state.
  23. I think so. After that replay, I don’t think so! The presence of such a player though.
  24. This is why Kane plays every game.
  25. Not only bad in the PL then. 3 mins for that easy decision
