  1. Well, the decision is first choice here and hopefully Europa, or playing on a Sunday at Bournemouth because your teammates have just played a Champions League game. Wonder how Danny feels about picking option 2 now?
  2. Where’s it rolling towards though? That’s what we all want to know.
  3. Im pretty sure that’s exactly what it means ?
  4. Stadium expansion is a no brainier. I know plenty of people who can't warrant buying a ST (family/work commitments) but would still attend 50% of games - yet struggle to because of lack of purchasable seats (finding 2 or more together) and a piss poor membership system.
  5. Excuse my ignorance - where can I pick a copy up? I've heard many good things from many different people!
  6. To be honest, I've noticed it with fans of all London clubs. Take a look at twitter and you'll see Arsenal and West Ham fans all saying that there's a conspiracy and the FA is against them. I think the smog has got to their brains. Chelsea meanwhile, well, they've long realised this season's a write off!
  7. I'm trying to stay dignified and enjoy our success (hopefully) without taking pleasure in the failure of other teams. But some Arsenal (though they've all piped down now) and mostly Spurs fans are so bitter and hypocritical its incredibly hard not to stick the boot in, at least a little bit!
  8. Despite some of Barton's antics on the football field - he's clearly an intelligent guy. Far more so than Owen or Mills. How Mills and Ferdinand ever even got considered for their current role in shaping youth football I'll never know. FFS - Mills actually used the argument that his kids were in the youth system to support why he was a good choice for that kind of role. How embarrassing.
  9. The way Barton destroy Mills is majestic. I don't like him as a player, but as a pundit I'm warming to Joey quite a lot. Mills on the other hand is an absolute waste of space.
  10. Helicopter has gone to Southend this morning...
  11. Yeah, didn't think it'd be a signing. Does that guy live in that sodding helicopter?
  12. If it is then it'll be pretty bloody out of the blue, seeing as the rumour mill doesn't have us close to signing anyone. So I doubt it'll be that tbf.
  13. Helicopter is heading towards Gatwick.
  14. ITSS HAPPPPPENNNNIINNNGGGG..... What "it" is, I'm not sure, but something is going on, I'm sure of it.
  15. Without sounding like a massive stalker, thats pretty usual I think. I normally get an alert about the same amount of hours before home games. G-LCFC
  16. Just gonna leave this here;
  17. The FOXES tifo last weekend I thought looked excellent. Simple - but very effective. I honestly think it shows the club is listening and trying very hard to give the fans what they ask for (within reason, obviously)
  18. I'm sure if there was a choice of having the same atmosphere with or without the clappers, then we'd probably all pick without. But I have noticed it in the West Stand - people who previously just sat and watched the game without clapping/singing now regularly use the clapper and some have even started to sing/mumble along with songs. It would be interesting to have a game without the clappers, and to see if those that are now more involved in generating atmosphere continued to do so.
  19. Where did the slogan come from? Reading it on Saturday with the atmosphere really made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - properly stirring stuff. The only thing I would say, and its by no means a criticism of the UFS guys, is that it would have been good to have it up right up until kick off, so the players are running towards the Kop with it in its full glory. That said, given the performance on Saturday, I think it did its job anyway! Well done everyone.
  20. This. And it's all over the media today, why wouldn't they talk about it?
  21. I presume there is donation info included with each coloured foil/card that is included on the each seat?
  22. He probably would have been, but if you actually read my posts in this thread, that's not been my point at all. But, "whatever", eh.
  23. Wow, exceptional work from all involved. Well done!
  24. That, Harry, is utter bullshit. I was a staunch supporter of NP, and didn't want him sacked at any point last season. I wish he were still here, but he isn't. Therefore, we all need to get behind CR if we're going to stand a chance of staying up this season. Raking over the coals of ill-feeling that many people share over Pearson's dismissal would not create the positive atmosphere in the stadium we need. There's already enough people waiting to jump on CR's back without adding more to the mix. I fully appreciate the sentiment, don't get me wrong. NP (with the support of the owners) moved this club forward to the point it's almost unrecognisable from 7 years ago. But we need to look forwards now, not backwards. Luckily, UnionFS have already decided what they're going with and it doesn't look like it'll be anything directly about NP/CR. Keep up the good work lads/lasses. Out of interest, how much does each display cost?
  25. Bloody hope so. http://planefinder.net/flight/HSVSK Currently over India, for those interested.
