even if it wasn't, it'd still be wrong because it's -1 Scotland, -3 Haiti ATM on Goal Difference
-
clarkes game plan was always gonna be "don't get hammered" but how the **** do you do that with league two standard centre backs
-
full on sprint for him that though
-
oh he was just fully phoning it in because we don't enforce standards at this club then. bald twat

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
The Doctor replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
fair, that's an incredibly quick study for Martin's ways -
there's not really a club element to the international fan base though. Domestically yes, the old firm in particular have a hooligan problem but that's not taken into the tartan army. It's kinda the nature of tribalism, the borders get larger if you've got a wider opponent: it's hearts v hibs until it's England v Scotland, it's England v Scotland until the yanks start bad mouthing this island... While that's also true of england - you don't really hear of e.g. West Ham and millwall fans scrapping in an england end - the travelling England fans do still have that reputation to them globally.

can dabble with eggs to your hearts content on that tbf -
I mean, in a fortnight the tartan army have managed to get Boston to twin with Glasgow and had the state of Massachusetts symbolically legalise haggis ... locals clearly love them

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/schedule#KnockoutStage 3rd place in this most likely is Germany in Ro32. Sweden/South Korea/Switzerland is a stunning route to the quarters for finishing 2nd though
-
85% chance if it's two 1-0 defeats, 4-1 humping and you're looking 56% at best.
-
4-1 mullering and you realistically have no chance of getting through in 3rd place without a win and a draw in the other game, tight goal difference and the odds are in your favour. The format is very appealing to sufferball Steves attritional style
-
clarkes a coward but the goal aside gunn wasn't ever properly challenged. makes leaving it until the last 15 minutes to go forward even worse
-
always a bad idea. Like if we get through as one of the third place teams he'll feel justified but genuinely feels like we're having relative success (certainly compared to the last two decades) inspite of him
-
always rated our Christina,
-
had the shites pre Haiti and still playing like it
-
hope the Uzbekistan get hammered in every game to upset this ref
-
what hype? pretty much every Scotland fan could tell you that Clarke's game plan would be murderball, strangle the game and hope for a 0-0. He's got no plan b, no willingness to take the brakes off (which could well cost us, not going at Haiti and running up a 2 or 3 goal win in the likelihood goal difference comes into play). Most successful manager for Scotland sure in terms of tournaments made but also he's a bit of a drag

Mctominay is bossing it in Napoli, Fergusons doing well in serie A too, Robertson has for years been the starting left back for one of the best sides the PL has seen in the last 30 years... there's a decent few players in there. They're just bookended by Che Adams and Grant Hanley
-
so incredibly passive. He really is betting on 3 points -1 GD being enough for one of the 3rd place spots so just keep the score down
-
defensive mid, plays for Bologna. midfield is pretty tidy, problem is that the CBs and strikers are all championship standard (and also that Steve Clarke has no plan beyond haramball)
-
hope someone at least snaps Hakimi
-
clarke going 5 at the back and a defensive mid. just straight up looking at the "two 1-0 defeats still gets you through 85% of the time" then

given people bang on about him being a vegan and dating Lucy Pinder, both of which are far more interesting than his football, I imagine he was asked about them rather than bringing it up mid interview -

what a weird thing to get annoyed about. like setting aside the whole "vegan votes environmentalist party, tofu found in kitchen" aspect, unless he's bringing his politics into work and disrupting everything like Wayne Brown did, who cares how he votes?
