  1. Qatar keeper getting a concussion and the ghost of Lev Yashin possessing him for the remainder of the match
  2. toblerone fc boring everyone to death again
  3. aye, not Jerusalem or any other common shout for an alternative, Wonderwall.
  4. lol, the world seeing how much of a bum this guy is
  5. one conspiracy theory I fully believe is that PGMOL don't want the tech as it would show how bad they are, so are deliberately implementing it poorly to turn fans against it
  6. RBs had a shocker with that goal though, you've got your two CBs to deal with the sole striker, don't need to draw in to him. Stand off and look to intercept the knock down
  7. they're all reviewed, they just don't show it if it's a simple done decision. Semi auto will have drawn up the lines and seen nothing
  8. inconclusive, looks like a perfectly good header to me
  9. genuinely should have been binned off after he turned into yer da ranting about technology in 2014 with the goal line tech, just a woeful commentator these days
  10. put some respect on the yaks name, lethal finisher. Ronaldo was always gonna be having a stinker from the moment messi scored that hat trick, ego taken over. Be hilarious when he retires and they immediately win a trophy
  11. Curucao aside (and they got proper punished by the bullshit commercial break in the first half), all the minnows thus far have put up a good showing.
  12. was that Bruno Fernandes faking like he's gonna put it out for the injury to slow everyone down and then picking the pass? right little rat
  13. shame that's off as an absolute belter of a finish
  14. I mean, boycotts of big tournaments is never really gonna happen due to demand, even at club football you'd struggle because there'll always be people who want to go to games. We've had one boycott work at club level, and while it can't just be put down to time/weather like the detractors tried to, it being a freezing Monday night helped elevate numbers by making it less likely those on the fence choose in favour of going.
  15. fundamentally though to do this he would have to do a complete 180 on his style of play up to this point in his managerial career, you can see why people don't have any confidence that will happen - while he's still young, he's several jobs in, this is who he is and what he believes in. Peoples cynicism is because we're in a historically bad spiral, and it doesn't seem like the board have learnt a single lesson in this time
  16. I want change now. Don't want Soy Hodgson, never did. Mans failure at rangers should have been the end of his managerial career
  17. more over, not one fan of his former clubs has come forward with anything positive to say about him. Fans will be on his back from game one if he still plays passive boring football, another season of pure toxicity showing that dumb and dumber still haven't learnt a thing from 3 relegations in 4 years
  18. Lopetegui at Spain wasn't it, sacked for planning to take charge of Madrid after the tournament
  19. the boos at that 2-0 opening day defeat to Bromley are gonna be all timers. get us to October and get him sacked already
  20. very funny Theo Walcott claiming he was involved at the peak of England's golden generation. One friendly in 2006 aside he was 2008 to 2016, which has to be England's nadir in the last 30 years surely
  21. lunch time kick off isn't too bad. Actually a better slot on the east coast than that 2-5am run (9pm to midnight in EST)
  22. I mean, we all know it's FIFA's greed, but broadcasters will see the ad revenue and want to keep it if they can
  23. it's so blatantly an attempt to create more ad breaks. gonna be pure shite when Sky and TNT want in on that and you've got a "hydration break" in Newcastle the Saturday before Christmas
  24. yea, bad decision expanding it to let it nothing teams like Germany. Giving a good account of themselves though
