Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
StanSP replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just a legal term. Hearings can last days or months. Basically when the case will be heard. They could cover all 115 charges as a collective, in the sense that they've breached a term or rule by another party. -
Are they actually taking the piss

Most we've been ahead of 3rd: 13pts after beating Birmingham on 18th Dec and then Rotherham on 23rd Dec, then NYD vs Huddersfield
-
Nope. Wasn't sure myself, but had a look back: Most we've been ahead of 2nd is: 12pts after beating Sheff Weds (13th Feb) 11pts after beating Watford (10th Feb) and Stoke (3rd Feb) 10pts after Swansea (30th Jan) It was 10 pts as well on NYD after beating Huddersfield.

Quite likely. All it needs is Leeds or Ipswich to win their next game and us not to beat Preston. Scenario 1 Leeds win vs QPR = 93pts Ipswich win vs Hull = 92pts Leicester draw vs Preston = 95pts Therefore we'd have to draw and hope Leeds don't win by 4 on final day to be crowned champions, or just beat Blackburn anyway. Throw in Ipswich beating Coventry in midweek and that'd leave them on 95pts, meaning we'd have to win regardless on the final day. Scenario 2 Leeds draw vs QPR = 92 pts Ipswich draw vs Hull and Coventry = 91 pts Leicester lose vs Preston = 94pts So we'd have to draw vs Blackburn to take Ipswich out the equation, but hope Leeds don't hammer Southampton by 3 or more goals to overtake us. Scenario 3 Leeds lose vs QPR = 90 pts Ipswich take 4 from Hull & Cov = 93pts Leicester lose/draw vs Preston = 94/95pts Therefore we just have to worry about Ipswich, and match their result to secure 1st.

Someone will still find fault with him and totally ignore the good stuff. Fact is, he's a proven shot stopper and have saved us more points than he's lost us.

Well done everyone. Glad it all got sorted for Matt.

I see it as healthy debate Our differences are in the point you make - some things are so subjective but bringing in more rules have just greyed the area even further to be fair. The handball rule and offside rules have worsened. Not just because of VAR but because they've added so many different parameters it leads to the inconsistency. Maybe there'll never be a flat or fixed rule of what is and isn't handball/offside but I feel like if the rules were clearer they could actually get on with their jobs, have less ambiguity and it'd mean they can explain things to fans and players with much more ease. Thankfully the introduction of semi-automated offside tech from next season will clear up a lot of debate and hopefully avoid such controversies of those god forsaken lines they drawn on on top of unclear still frames.

What's the threshold then for them to take action? 250 emails? 500? It's pie in the sky stuff if 150 isn't enough, but then they don't give any indication what will be? Also email [email protected] I copied in the help@ one and Jim replied. This is a load of shit too. Sorry, Jim, if you're reading this but it's not directed at you. It pretty much says 'we'll answer different questions, not yours, and therefore not actually listen to what you're saying, thanks!' It's why the customer service is absolutely shockingly shite. That pretty much admits it. -
15 seconds would stop the fake injuries though, surely? A player knowing they have to be off longer and put their team to a detriment would deter players faking it? If it's a legit injury you'd think a player stays down, head injury or not...

Nothing wrong with that Wolves goal.

Next Seasons Squad - Can we now talk about it?
StanSP replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Depends who makes the thread -
True. Hopefully they beat a fatigued Coventry at the weekend to secure their survival.
-
Yep, didn't realise they'd been pulled right back into it too! Can see Wednesday beating them on Saturday.
