What the hell?? Gary Doherty scored for Norwich, I thought he was a defender for Tottenham who scored that own goal for us last season?

No that was Gary Docherty, who plays for Norwich now. Can play as a striker as well very much like James Scowcroft. Norwich played brilliant tonight, great to watch unlike some team i could mention

Except for turning the club around from relegation candidates to playing in the Champions League/UEFA Cup. Hmmmm.

It werent hard to do that with the quality players they had Micky mouse could of even done it.(second thoughts maybe he couldnt). Robson has done nothing for Newcastle. End ofstory. He aint won nothing with them, all he done was get the quality players to play. He has signed absolute shit as well. Even the chairman said taht so you cant argue with it.

Yeah, I'm sure the chairman said it in those words, and obviously chairman's are usually such a clever bunch anyway.

Every manager has signed shocking players. What quality players did Newcastle have at the time apart from Shearer and Dyer?

Who are his shit signings?

I think he's done a cracking job at Newcastle. Built them a good base for their future by signing a good crop of youngsters.

He's done wonders at Newcastle, end of story.

Dyer werent even there. Heres prove that fans even want him out http://www.nufc.com. They had alot of good players. Keegan done well with a team basically the same not long before

Gullit purchased Dyer, so he was there.

Robson had to rescue Newcastle after Gullit had majorly messed them up, in the bottom 3 when Robson took over and now they're in the top 5 all the time.

Do you think their fans expect them to be challenging for the league? No chance.

You haven't told us his shocking signings yet, you've got to back up what you say...

Robson has done fairly well, he's been a class manager to be fair over the years.

He has made some crap signings at times though. Players such as Titus Bramble, Carl Cort (I think Robbo signed him) Robbie Elliott, Hugo Viana and a couple of others. Mind you most managers make crap signings, it's inevitable. Even Wenger has signed some shit at times, Jeffers, Cygan, etc.

The gulf between Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd puts pressure on teams like Newcastle and Liverpool and it often results in them under performing.

Thankyou for pointing out the bad signings, Hoof, they are indeed shocking.

But I think the good definately outweigh the bad..

No doubt about it, he has made some cracking signings. Look how he's transformed Craig Bellamy. If Bellamy stayed injury free he'd be one of the best strikers in the premiership I reckon. Robert has been class aswell, some don't like him but he's amazing. Their defence has always been the problem, even under Keegan. If they strengthened that and Dyer got his finger out they would do well.

Add the likes of Woodgate (Who did well when fit and sold for a profit) Kluivert, Jenas, Carr and Butt to that list of good signings.

He will retire at the end of the season I would imagine anyway, but Newcastle fans should thank him for saving the club from certain relegation, and transforming them in to a top 5 team.

I would have added them to my list, but they haven't been there long enough to see whether they will do anygood. Jenas is crap in my opinion, don't rate the lanky bean at all.

Not surprised that Arsenal have beat the record , They are the best team ive ever saw in my lifetime !
