cisono Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 can you have bacon in a toastie? Plus... as far as I can tell, there is no "proper/approved toastie board", so you can do what you want

The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 I'd cook the bacon first. Obviously.

The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 You're not fat. Disillusioned, yes... but fat? No.
Guest Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 You're not fat. Disillusioned, yes... but fat? No. According to my new scales, approximately one third of my body weight is fat.
cisono Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 According to my new scales, approximately one third of my body weight is fat. Have you checked the impedance? Anyway, throw them away and try another type
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 You are beautiful... da da da da da Words can't bring you down! Remember what queen Christina the slut said?!
Guest Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Have you checked the impedance? Anyway, throw them away and try another type No, I haven't, but it didn't tell me to in the destruction booklet. So there could be a possibility that they're wrong? I'd hate to think so, as Mr Lisa has 17% body fat, and this would mean he has next to nothing if mine was really normal. If you see what I mean.

I'd hate to think so, as Mr Lisa has 17% body fat, and this would mean he has next to nothing if mine was really normal. If you see what I mean. It wouldn't tell you to, as this is only available in commercial models. Men are supposed to have lower body fat anyway. Women's healthy range is 20% up to 26% - so you are not that far away, even if the scales were more or less correct this time. But it does sound as if you may be at the top end of the range at the moment. Incidentally, it also depends what time of the day you get this measured, in particular whether you have been drinking enough water. This may account for 1 to 2% of the measurement (from experience). Do you have a Tanita?
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Blimey! Sounds like you know your stuff!
Shum Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Indeed! My body fat was stooooooooopidly high, and has dropped a little recently, still need a bit of work to get into the right range!
cisono Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Blimey! Sounds like you know your stuff! I would hope so! It is part of my job...
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 I would hope so! It is part of my job... Oh I see, what job is that then mate?
cisono Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Oh I see, what job is that then mate? Fitness instructor, basically... (one of my occupations)
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Oh right... you'd have your work cut out with me. I can imagine it now... 'do some exercise and stop drinking so much beer!' Seriously though, I ran 27km for charity earlier this summer, so in some respects I'm a bit of a hero!
cisono Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Seriously though, I ran 27km for charity earlier this summer, so in some respects I'm a bit of a hero! That's not bad at all!!!
The People's Hero Posted 7 September 2005 Posted 7 September 2005 Book me over 3 and a half hours and I really struggled from cramp. I've raised nearly £7k though so I'm really chuffed with that! Nearly 100 replies for this toastie thread now!
