Harry - LCFC Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Wasn't this also the case the last time we played Birmingham City? I'm sure we were told the game had sold out but a few people said after the match they were able to get tickets at the gate.
Dan Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Wouldn't be surprised as I'm pretty sure that something similar happened last time we played there. They gave us 2,500 if I remember rightly, we sold it and then they put 800 on the gate with not one bit of advertising. It's really, really weird. I don't see who actually benefits from it. The fact it's happened twice makes me think it's deliberate.
alanf0x Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Can confirm that tickets were definitely available to buy on the gate. Very frustrating as the club had told my dad that this would not be the case yesterday and he had to collect from the ground (90 mile round trip).
