Alf Bentley Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 So.... Happyville Arizona: 3 in Northern Ireland, 2 in the Scottish islands, 5 in rural England Misery City Arizona: 3 in the Midlands, 2 in Merseyside, 2 Grimsville towns in E. Kent, Dundee & 2 spooky rural areas Having grown up in East Kent, I'm not surprised to see Dover and Canterbury feature in the misery list, white cliffs and cathedral notwithstanding. I expect the only reason my home town of Folkestone didn't make the misery list was because everyone was off their head on drugs. As for happy Blaby, maybe the survey sample interviewed was the 2 blokes who'd just robbed the bank?
Nalis Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 The people of Blaby were never happier than when they accused that woman of being Maxine Carr for no reason Cant be as bad as this Maxine Carr accusation: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/5282960.stm
Guest Posted 25 September 2015 Posted 25 September 2015 If I was moving back to the UK Blaby would not be in my top 1000 places. I guess happiness is a relative thing - Blabyites are happy because they're not living in Enderby.
