suffolk fox Posted 29 October 2015 Posted 29 October 2015 Over the years I have noticed that more panalties are missed by players who take a short run up, or who 'stutter' during their approach, rather than taking a decent run up and directing the ball at some pace toward their chosen target. I am not sure that the goalkeeper even knowing which way to dive should be able to make a save. Muzzy used to practise against one time England goalkeeper Tim Flowers and always hit the ball inside the post to the goalkeeper's right. I think he did miss one penalty for Leicester, but he scored from loads. Check out Gally in more recent seasons, no messing, very very effective. Dinking around is arrogant and dangerous, remember Kermy? Change your style Riyad, please! Mmmmmmmmm interesting. For the reason being in Muzzys book Muzzy has alluded to himself Gary Parker use to take the penalties And was a great penalty taker.
