Sampson Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 Another thing that always springs to mind with King was his goal against Cardiff in the play-off semi-final. We were 2-0 down on aggregate and we're looking poor and like we were out of it, then suddenly we turned it around and scored 3 goals in 30 minutes to lead 3-2 on aggregate. King scored the 3rd and there's few goals I've celebrated more. Ultimately we lost, but those 30 minutes and that comeback when we looked dead and buried were extraordinary and epitomised the Pearson and Ranieri eras.
onekeithweller Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Eight years ago this week Kingy was in a City side getting beat 3-0 by Sheffield Utd and heading for League 1. Hard to believe. Should get some time against the Hammers next week, he loves playing them, four goals in six games.
