Sampson Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 I remember Wes doing one of those "teammates" videos on the OS a while back when he was asked who the most intelligent player was and he said King and he'd always take him to meetings (he had to go to as captain) because he's good with all the technical an legal stuff I think. Another couple of players did it and they always answered King pretty much straight away on the most intelligent player question. Either way: LEGEND!

Up popped AK with a, possibly undeserved, winner.....I got the feeling then that he was probably the only player in the team, (possibly the only person in the whole stadium), that hadn't settled on a draw! Every successful team needs committed, loyal, players.....They don't come more committed and loyal than 'our' Andy! IF we do win the PL, (and I'm convinced we will), 'Kingy' should be the player allowed to lift the trophy in front of the fans....we've travelled the long, arduous journey together ! From what I remember of that game, the winner wasn't undeserved at all. We should've won 5 or 6 nil but kept missing chances and it seemed like it was just "one of those days".

If anyone has gone through what we have and deserves it over anyone else it's Kingy.

Thought the same-never clocked it at all. If Kingy lifts the trophy (obviously after Wes), he'll do it in front of the manager who let him go, who will in turn lift it in front of the chairman who sacked him. Massive day of told-you-so's!

Don't think you can say Claudio was King's manager and decided to let him go... He was 15. Also when was he released by Chelsea exactly? Claudio could have already been sacked.
