Rincewind Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 I was going on his later stuff. Don't remember his early stuff.
tom27111 Posted 26 April 2016 Share Posted 26 April 2016 Yes use it was. Really? It's very much in the style of his early stuff. Having said that, must be one of the best cover versions of all time. On a side point, what is it that makes people rush out and buy someone's music when they die? It's not like there's a shelf life to it and it's suddenly going to disappear! You couldn't be bothered when they were alive, why now? I find it bizarre. Also there has been much talk of 'we will finally get to hear the songs that he didn't want to release.' Well is that how much respect you have for the deceased, that as soon as they're gone, you go against their wishes. Again, the mind boggles! Agree with you about buying the deads music. Especially when you can download it for free. But with regards to his unreleased stuff, Prince would've released an album a week if his label allowed him to. If he didn't like something, he wiped it. His so called 'vault' is there to be released.
