Thracian Posted 9 June 2016 Posted 9 June 2016 As the man who has arguably done as much as anyone in England to tear communities apart, be it in his own country or Iraq, "Good Christian" Tony Blair, comes up with this. http://news.sky.com/story/1709400/brexit-would-tear-apart-uk-former-pms I can't help wondering though if there's a connection between convert-to-Catholicism Tony Blair and fellow Catholic Juncker at this so-convenient time. A friend in need and all that....

A friend in need and all that.... Does this need a new thread, especially one with a click bait title? There is already a an EU referendum thread. Does it matter who says it if it is true? John Major is speaking with him saying the same thing. Blair might be a cvnt, but it is widely considered that Scotland might force a new independence vote to leave the UK and join the EU, NI could try and follow.

Blair might be a cvnt, but it is widely considered that Scotland might force a new independence vote to leave the UK and join the EU, NI could try and follow. I've never been to Northern Ireland for all that my oldest son was married to a girl from Belfast. As for Scotland and Wales, I visit both places quite often, enjoy it every time, and have never considered either to be anything less than equal and valued members of the UK. However, that doesn't blind me to the fact that many Scots, Welsh (and Northern Irish) consider themselves separate entities and don't want to be governed from England any more than I don't want us to be governed from Brussels. For me, it is up to them. The Scots, of course had a vote, and the slippery Sturgeon seems to want another vote until her aims are fulfilled when you can be 100% certain she'll go off the idea of further referendums altogether. But, she's the one leading the SNP, and if the majority of Scots really want out of the UK that's their right and I wish them well. It's the risk with democracy and one of the reasons I don't greatly admire the system - as we ourselves will discover in times to come. Size might matter to some but Norway and Switzerland are small enough countries and both seem to get along fine.

There are also several we hate labour threads.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 I can't even stand looking at Blair anymore. Atrocious man.
