So have any top clubs actually confirmed their participation in this competition yet?

I would have thought with bigger squad sizes and no reserve league the top clubs would have been all over this, the opportunity to keep players on the fringe match fit.

Sounds like a bit of a farce now, surely they have to announce a draw pretty soon, imagine if we end up with the likes of Burton Albion U21s playing Coventry.

It's the European clubs turning it down which is understandable with the fixtures. Leicester are in the UEFA Youth League next season too so I can see us dropping out which is a shame. Would be nice to see the youth team in competitive games selfishly.
