Ted Maul Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Another 10k would be about right. If we seriously want to maintain our competitiveness amongst the elite, 32k will not allow us to grow adequately, and we'll never sustain it. Park and ride will need to be implemented properly- but traffic/congestion is the only negative I can think of. The potential benefits far outweigh that. - Higher club prestige (positive effect on recruitment, etc.) - Young fans being able to attend and become city fans- as things stand, many kids are missing out, which could have a negative effect on fan Base when times aren't so good and the next generation aren't properly attached to the club - A non 'identikit' stadium with a bit of character - Simply having a bigger ground which sets us apart from the massive group of middling clubs with 28-33k capacities Hopefully they get it done ASAP.
