Ballie1981 Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 Few of us are off to Stockholm. We re thinking the old town looks a decent bet to drink and put the the flags up. Any other suggestions be good but just trying to rally any troops
Foxes1 Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 Hi I went on facebook and there are Scandanavian supporters of LCFC on there and I asked the same question this is the answer I got back. Hi mate, we've heard that Bishops Arms near the central station is OK! Solna is a little bit outside of the center but there are also dining places and pubs there. Maybe some of the Swedes here can be more specific? There will be an unofficial LCFC gathering at Bishops Arms around lunchtime and 2-3 hours before kick off we will be at O'Learys in Mall of Scandinavia next to the arena. As for dining central Stockholm is full of restaurants and there are a good few in Solna as well, which one tho choose???? Depends on what you like.Hi mate, we've heard that Bishops Arms near the central station is OK! Solna is a little bit outside of the center but there are also dining places and pubs there. Halfsy Posted 1 August 2016 Posted 1 August 2016 A friend of mine lives in Solna close to the ground and says the average price for a beer is around 65 Kronas, which is just over £6. Will be flying from Gatwick at 9.10am, so see you at the Bishops Arms!

Ballie1981 Posted 2 August 2016 Author Posted 2 August 2016 So in summary bishops arms and the town part of town (gamla Stan - which sounds more likely)

Beer in bars in Sweden is generally more expensive than the UK but it's not ridiculous. If you're really doing things on a budget try the local liquor store - Systembolaget where you'll find cans for £1-£1.50 upwards.
