Mezeker Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Was looking through transfer news and stumbled upon this: Very interesting interview with an agent; thought some of you would find it interesting.
Mezeker Posted 31 August 2016 Author Posted 31 August 2016 found it interesting that he touched on the fact that if Amazon wanted they could outbid sky for broadcasting rights. Little peak into where the game in headed in the next couple years. 100 mil transfers are going to be the norm in a couple of years.
Jaspa Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Found it even more interesting at 18:10 where he mentions clauses in contracts effecting moves around other clubs, he said a 23 year old player subject to a bid that got turned down and first thing I thought was Schlupp but obviously could easily be Berahino. Next one I thought of was Knockaert; although he left on a free he spent a few months in Belgium and popped up back in the Championship and that seemed abit odd to me at the time. Worth twenny minutes of my sleep deprived time anyway cheers
FireFox Posted 31 August 2016 Posted 31 August 2016 Thanks, pretty interesting stuff. It never occurred to me that managers will bring on youth players in the final minutes, not (necessarily just) to slow the game down, but so they earn a bonus because he thinks they did well in training.
