Shirt Framing

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

just wondered if anyone knew of a good place to get football shirts framed? I've looked on the Internet and most are northern/southern based . Leicester ideal but don't mind travelling around Midlands.

Many thanks

I've had three done at a place called Gallery 18 I think in Loughborough and they have always done a great job.

Definitely this place on Aylestone Rd, think it's called Brica brac. Have had one framed there.

Be aware that framing shirts more than often ruin the garment. I see there is a poppy shirt on here, which would have cost a fortune and  I have deframed many shirts with horrendous consequences.

They pin them at the back, but also often sew them creating holes in the shirt. Also most of them use a heavy duty double sided take that leaves a glue like mess if you try and remove it.

If you have a high value item, it's never a good idea to frame them as future buyers will take the potential damage into consideration.

I have five left that I am scared of deframing including some very precious final shirts.

Only do it if you don't mind ruining the item, as I have never deframed one that has not been damaged, and the framers were at the top end.

Yeah it's Albrightons from last season, didn't consider that but to be honest I can't think of a time I would deframe or consider selling.

Nearly ended up with Fuchs poppy shirt as well, went a bit mad lol.
