The pair of them looked good yesterday, slimani getting a couple of assists. Great target man with his strength and can lay the ball off to faster players around him, he's a much cleverer and mobile version of ulloa so I think the pair can work well when asked upon.

Good things to come from Slimani and Vardy partnership I reckon.Slimani showed  his passion in a few ways yesterday,loved it when he was getting the Kop going towards the end.

Still not convinced about him winning aerial balls, but his hold up play is very good. Touch can be inconsistent, but capable of playing some lovely passes and flicks.

Thought they both worked well together on Saturday, showed signs of promise. The ball that Slimani threaded through for Vardy's first goal was excellent, the weight of the pass was ideal. The striker situation is quite healthy at the moment, Okazaki is in form too. Options.
