possiblygeorge Posted 7 November 2016 Posted 7 November 2016 It's obviously been a pretty frustrating, lacklustre start to the Season, one that promised a lot for us as Supporters. Everyone seems to be pretty on edge and are lacking confidence claiming we're already in a "Relegation scrap". I have full faith in the Club that we'll finish anywhere from 7th-10th position, not looking it this way but it's a long season. Here's some food for though. Chelsea had a couple of less points than we did at this point in the season and were also 3 points out from the drop zone. No one said they'd hang around there for too long and they didn't? So why are we doomed for a relegation scrap? Simple answer is we're not. As long as there's still a blue pulse beating in the Club we're not doomed for anything. Some might remember the final song in this video from the Great Escape Season i put together three matches out from the end of the season and we came good (which got taken down eventually). I thought i'd use it again and hopefully proves to be a good omen for us. Keep the faith. Enjoy. Up the Blues!

Imo, there are two main reasons for our league position; the first being that the players are suffering from an anti climax, following our huge success last season. That burning desire to achieve has eroded. Secondly, we are in the Champions league, and the players are concentrating on this. When we get knocked out, I reckon our league form will improve.
