These players or the vast majority have shown over time that they really respond to adversity. The Watford game, the Villa at home last season and the great escape are just examples. 

 

Maybe I am clutching at straws but today's ref and his performance could be a blessing in disguise.

I have loads of time for him. His head is in exactly the right place. One day (in the distant future) he should manage England. He was definitely an important part of our win last season - we have many captains in our team.

The season starts here as far as I am concerned. Last season's celebrations now a distant memory.

The fight is back, as is Kasper, Drinky and Mendy lets kick on from this.

Everton, West Ham and Boro next up, let's get three wins on the board and forget all this relegation talk nonsense.

Why would he manage England?!
