Ric Flair Posted 3 September 2004 Posted 3 September 2004 These lads that play for the academy, do they train everyday full-time? Or do they do a bit of training and go to college? Surely there's no point them going college for them to then burst on the scene half way through the course? I wonder if Adams ever goes to watch them train or make it his business to find out about them like a certain Alex Ferguson does.

I saw an article in the program a few seasons ago that focused on the youth set up. They do still get an education, some even do A Levels/GNVQ's etc in the event of not making it so they can fall back on something. Probably Petrescu (The poster) is the best person to answer this question.

Micky did actually choose to watch the youth team train instead of the first team a few weeks ago, for the first time ever im sure, he rarely ever does that but thats not a suprise. He's played 10 minutes of football this season, for the reserves. Not good.
