Twenty of us tried to confront Martin Allen with that, but we were defeated when he decided to defecate down his arms as well, at the same time. We were impressed at that, and we left him to get on with things in his own way. Well, you would, wouldn't you?
yorkie1999 Posted 22 February 2017 Posted 22 February 2017 Was listening to tony pulis offering an explanation for our poor form the other night on wm. Basically said he had a similar problem when he was at stoke when they qualified for Europe in that when you get a group of players like we've got , their focus shifts to the big match i.e. the European game, the league game is just a Saturday game and they're not up for it anymore, bit like a bit of a kick around and the motivation just vanishes. It's up to the players to find their motivation again and with a bit of luck going out of Europe will give them the jolt they need. I think that's what separates the greats who do it week in week out in the league and in Europe, from the lesser players.
