seventy_times_7 Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Has CL managed successive league wins yet? I've got a feeling he hasn't, just wondering if anyone knew for sure. If not, it's got to change on Tuesday. Anyhow, I definitely think the next 2 games could have a huge bearing on the rest of our season. We are clearly capable of winning both (but how many times have we said that before!), and if we do, we should be comfortably in the top half, probably just outside the playoffs, with confidence levels sky high after 9 points from 9. Anything less than 4 points and certain sections of the fans will be calling for 'LEVEIN OUT' again, and any confidence built up will be drained out of the players. That could lead to another year of battling away in the bottom half. So we've just gotta play the waiting game really. 6 points from Burnley and Cov could be the kick start CL's reign needs.
frenchy_lcfc Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 I think we could get the six points from Burnley and Cov! Because they said on the Championship this morning that CL was watching all the games from this season and analysing them while the World Cup qualifiers were on!! So I think he has seen what needed to be changed, and all the changes are being made!!
Mark Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Has CL managed successive league wins yet? I've got a feeling he hasn't, just wondering if anyone knew for sure. If not, it's got to change on Tuesday. Just the once, the last two home games of last season against Derby and Leeds. Keep a settled team and we've every chance of making it 3 wins, both teams are there for the taking.
cisono Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 successive wins? I am struggling to remember what that feels like. However, the expression does seem to have a magnetic, nice ring to it

CL has to make sure that every player knows how important it is for us to win our next two games and get amongst it. We are only 4 points off the play-offs as it is. Come on Leicester.

Libertine Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 OOO OK!! Yeah thats a pitty! We could be on the highlights on LCFC World, so don't give up hope!

Let's play some football and deal with Burnley first. Attitude is the key... and self belief.
Kis Kis Kisnorbo Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Its good to see that us leicester fans sound confidence and have believe in our side again. Only 4 points off play-off, i dont see any reasons why we cant finish play offs, we have the players.
Guest Gist Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 The games coming up are suitable for a good run burnley and cov aint the hardest of games and there at home and then preston who have a sh*t home record

Only 4 points off play-off, i dont see any reasons why we cant finish play offs, we have the players. KisKis Kisnorbo Dont forget we are only 4 points of the relagation places as well. I also feel this win will boost the club and they should get a maximum of 6 points from the next two games. Coventry will be more difficult because of the Adams factor but Levein may be on a roll by then and needs to be savage in the way he gets the team prepared for the Cov game . MadMick
Thracian Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 With Goal-Smith waiting in the wings I can't imagine the forwards will be anything but focused for tomorrow's game.
Guest Gist Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 its nice to see everyone is optimistic again like i said earlier burnley cov preston and plymouth coming up and then a bigger test playing southampton if the players get some good points togehter and start gaining more confidence i dont see why we should'nt continue this season like we first set out to

BenFilbert Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 People have been laughing at me when i say that we can finish in the play offs. I'm not saying we will win these next two games but we've got a very good chance to. If we win both, we will be very close to the top 6. Come on City!
lush Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 There's plenty of heave-ho going on in that Avatar if you ask me... Brazilian disco indeed.
