Too early for Maguire, no reason he can't be there after a few more seasons though. Same with someone like Ndidi. Alan Smith too - some people on here seem to have it against him because he doesn't mention us enough in commentary or something, but without doubt one of the best strikers I've ever seen for us. Should be remembered in the same class as Worthington, Lineker and Vardy for me, he was a much better player for us for sure than the likes of Young, Heskey or Claridge who have been mentioned above him. His last couple of seasons after Lineker left were probably the closest I've ever seen us to being a one-man team. We used to survive in the First Division under Milne because of Lineker and Smith (and Lynex) - as soon as they left we turned into a side battling relegation in the Second Division which about summed up just how much better they were than the rest of the squad. I grew up with that forward line, but if you are saying that trio were much better than the rest of the squad, I would agree but add Ian Wilson. Not as eye catching as the other three but still a quality player in that team. 3
