You are right you don’t sub a CB because they are on a yellow however he got a big warning from the ref earlier, you could see the ref was looking to send him off.

I think some of it’s still a hang over from our successful season where we ‘got away with’ a  fair bit, especially bobby huth. Refs review stuff in seminars and I bet we featured a fair bit. Wes rarely used to give away many fouls, never mind yellows ..... he has slowed - both mind and body - it counts when you’re trying to nick a touch in front of an attacker .... harry manages to get the rub of the green on most 50/50 incidents .... that’s a combo of his profile and the fact he is quicker of mind than wes 

 

amartey is a marked man - poor profile and perceived to be a poor player - easy yellow - yesterdays challenge wasn’t worthy of a card - he actually took the ball and hardy touched Bernard
