He was beginning to look pretty decent before his injury, and allowed us to push Ricardo further up the field. Its easy to forget just how young he is - he's only just turned 24 in December. Hes not going to be a starter for us but with both our full back options going (Fuchs/Simpson) he's a decent option to have on the bench. Fuchs/Morgan/Okazaki/Simpson all to leave on frees. King will probably be released for a minimal fee, if anything. Likewise with James. Kapustka is still young but probably won''t make it here. A permanent move to Leuven wouldn't surprise me. Slimani will probably get shifted to China or follow Musa to Saudi Arabia. We'll take a loss on him, but still get more than we expect. Probably get rid of Mendy too, as he may end up surplus to requirements with Choudhury pushing through. Not sure what our transfer kitty is going to be like in terms of fees paid out, but that's a LOT of wages freed up for us to use to attract new signings. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
