I think if Nathan Blake happened to stumble across this website and read it, he'd probably consider his future in football

I don't think BM is saying that the written word NEVER has any influence just that what is written on this particular website and probably most websites is not going to have a direct impact on the performance of any player. Much the same as one person shouting at the match is very unlikely to influence players. Wasn't this demonstrated at Rotherham.

Besides if the there were never any negative comments and BMs aren't the only ones this would be the most boring site in the universe. Having said that I believe BMs choice of language is not always the best and lacks a little imagination.

Change for someone who is the same or worse is a waste of time and money. Only change if it is for a clearly superior manager and I cannot think of one that is readily available...

First half we was poor , didnt get a grip on the game. But second half we came out a different side .....But by no means we didnt play good football , Only in small patches !

We have got to start taking some positives from matches though, because you know aswell as I do Micky Adams will not be leaving this club for quite a while. We would have to lose another ten games on the bounce for him to be sacked, so let's face it he is here for an innings. I personally think he isn't the demi'god we first made him out to be and hopefully within the next few years he will have moved on, but until then I think he is capable of getting us promoted again and then there is two scenario's 1) he learns from all his mistakes and keeps us up and we all accept he's done himself justice or 2) after promotion he gets snapped up by a mediocre premiership club and we get a new ambitious manager. Either way we need to accept Adams isn't going anywhere and let's hope we continue to battle in games and win games when we play crap. We did this in 02/03 for most of our wins, some games we were awful and won, infact we didn't play well for the majority of the season, but that's the way we play. I think we can put a good run together now, home games our the key though. We have got to convert the possesion we have at home in to chances, away from home we have less possesion but the odd chance we do get we stick away. It was like that last season and that was our downfall.
