Manwell Pablo Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 The cov goalie produce a magnificent save to deny Hume. Should of done better with it though.

midtablethatsallwewilleverbe Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 I'd have no problems with 4-2-4, - MDV, Hume, Hammond and Smith, especially at home, if he's going to/having to play two defensive midfielders. It'd be just like watching Brazil. 4-3-3 would be better in the long term
Michael Doyle Posted 1 November 2005 Posted 1 November 2005 Lush Good to see you behind CL. You mentioned that the Cardiff game (champ) in your view should have been the turning point for City's season. IE putting their poor performances behind them. Why did you pick the Cardiff game? Also didn't we learn from that experience and go back and give them what for in the cup? I recon we will have another good season of development happening not just after a handful of games. After all it took ManUSA a number of seasons under Furgie to really get going. If anyone thinks this squad is able enough to challenge for the play offs and lets say it managed to get promoted what would happen? I fear the drop. If we can finish this season with a lot of confidence, playing good and consistent football with a good team spirit it sets us up for the future. Believe you me I would be as frustrated as the fans are at times when City play poorly and wish I had the chance to go and watch the City play away from home as well as at home but even you said it "I think there's something there - what ever it is" I can tell you its the Future of the club and its the base for the future of great times for fantastic supporters like you that travel up and down the country through good and bad to watch the mighty LCFC play. Your and my time will come, we will be a force to contend with again under CL but it will take time. COME ON THE FOXES MadMick
SystonFox Posted 1 November 2005 Posted 1 November 2005 He should have scored. He didn't score. i dont think he could have d one better. if we are talking about the cov incident where the goalie only just kept it out?it was a 1st time snapshot he did everything right. kept it low and hard and in a corner but goalie did everything o keep it out
