davieG Posted 30 October 2005 Posted 30 October 2005 Chief bemoans lack of creativity Leicester manager Craig Levein admitted he was disappointed not to make it three wins from three games as the Foxes drew 0-0 with Preston at Deepdale. Levein's men have won just once on their travels in the Championship this season and created few chances as they came up against a resolute North End outfit. Levein said: "I was disappointed. It happens doesn't it? "I didn't think we passed the ball at all in the first half. The way we were playing we were not going to create any chances, partly down to our inability to string passes together. "Both teams, particularly in the first half, cancelled each other out. "In the second half the longer the game went on, the more confident we were. We kept another clean sheet. Our defence looks pretty decent."

Libertine Posted 30 October 2005 Posted 30 October 2005 Maybe it's because we started two defensive midfielders. Just a wild guess.
Mark Posted 30 October 2005 Posted 30 October 2005 I don't see how he can expect different when we start with Hamill, Gudjonsson and Kisnorbo in midfield. Joey i can fully understand but not the other two when we had Smith and Williams available. Williams wasn't even in the 16 again, if he wanted the team to create chances then he should have at least named him a sub. He did make the only goal in the win against Cardiff, albeit from a corner. Preston were as bad as us which makes it even more frustrating.
Benji Posted 30 October 2005 Posted 30 October 2005 you know what levein is like, you fall out with him, your not going to play again williams....
