davieG Posted 31 December 2019 Posted 31 December 2019 Leicester City supporters are advised to arrive early for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup clash with Wigan Athletic at King Power Stadium with heavy congestion expected in the city centre. - Leicester City and Leicester Tigers both have home fixtures on Saturday 4 January - Delays expected on city centre roads throughout the day - Supporters advised to leave early with an increased demand for parking expected - Tigers kick-off at 1pm with the Foxes getting underway at 5:31pm The Foxes take on the Latics at 5:31pm on Saturday 4 January, while Leicester Tigers also face a home game against Bristol Bears at Welford Road, kicking off at 1pm on the same day. Alongside an expected increase in the number of shoppers coming into Leicester, it means there will be a significantly increased amount of traffic will be going in and out of the city centre throughout the day. Supporters are also advised that due to the two fixtures taking place in the same day, there will be an increased demand on parking in the city centre and surrounding areas, and are kindly asked to factor this into their plans.
