foxes_fan Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 I'm currently doing key skills Communciation level 2, and i am on the second task and i have no idea what it is asking me to do? So here it is: 1. Research from two different sources, information on data gathering (RFID tags, supermarket without check out, etc.) Source documents must be a minimum of 500 words in length. Reference your research in a bibliography. 2. Clearly summarise the two articles you have read making sure your summaries are in your own words. Then write a half side comparison on your findings. 3. Do a spider diagram or other brainstorming method to show how you intend to plan your article 4. Write the article for the computer magazine 5. Include at least one image to enhance your information and add an explanatory caption. Any help would be much appreciated as this has to be in tommorow
The People's Hero Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 I don't like spiders. Badgers? Yes. Spiders? No. Just draw a badger.
Cat Burger Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 OOooh Foxes_fan what a pickle. I can't help as I can't be bothered to read all of what you've wrote, sorry
davieG Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 Spider Diagram Software - try it for free I've always known it as mind mapping. RFID Tags - take your pick from google search
Deathside Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 Spider diagram That's rubbish - It looks nothing like a spider
The People's Hero Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 Yeah - your spider diagram was much better mate. Perhaps Davie G's was impressionist or something very conceptual or something. Looked nothing like a spider though, in my opinion.
Rincewind Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 You lost on the No 1 question. Will your research contribute to an improvement to my life or is it just a student thing?
Parsons Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 OOooh Foxes_fan what a pickle.I can't help as I can't be bothered to read all of what you've wrote, sorry yeh i can never be arsed to read long posts either. but then when your reading the rest of the posts you kind of get lost, especially if the first post was the long post.
cisono Posted 31 October 2005 Posted 31 October 2005 Spider Diagram Software - try it for free I've always known it as mind mapping. Spider Diagram Mind Map Hmm mind mapping LOOKS different ... although it may be logically equivalent (too late in the evening for me to even want to attempt to work it out!) In any case, the properties of the two representations are very different... it seems that their aims must also be different.
