I've had the kitchen scoped out so i know what units I need. I've got them.lined up from Howdens. But cannot find someone to do the job. Nobody cba to come and quote let alone do it.

That’s exactly the route I took…. I got lucky as my builders were highly experienced but had only recently set up as a firm as they’d simply contracted out before…. So, they weren’t yet VAT registered

 

A mate of mine builds new estates and got my discounts on materials and I got myself busy sourcing stuff…. Most builders won’t make any effort to save on materials as it takes time!  I was certainly focused on getting deals and saved thousands through sourcing off eBay finding outlet places…. 
 

Anyway…. I’m all done now and had very close inspection from building inspectors and the workmanship was great (they cared)…. 
 

Having large works done (took us 6 months) is stressful, but, you soon forget and you get to enjoy the results!
