The expectations are outweighing reality and we’re losing sight of the long term vision. I think Rodgers is doing an amazing job, let’s face it we’re a turd, he’s polished it up real nice, but someone has realised we’re actually a turn and our form has gone a little wobbly. The future is exciting, we’ve seen what Rodgers can do with a team containing largely average players, think of what he can do once he manages to get the team where he wants. This is a project, give it a few seasons and we will be flying, Yea it is a bit shit now, but we know as well as anyone that you have to take the shit before the glory. This is how,I See it...but can he get those young stars, during again...
Guest Dirkster the Fox Posted 28 February 2020 Posted 28 February 2020 The thread is honest in being opened, so no dig intended, but in reality is not what us fans want to discuss right now. Rodgers is fine, we've seen and know enough to be the case. Our anger is more at certain players performances, anger/frustration at VAR and ultimately frustration with injuries and Vardy generally out of sorts.

Our performances are lacklustre and we’ve let a 14 point lead potentially go down to 6. Every team goes through bad form. I agree we need to change our tactics slightly to maybe play more simple especially when we try to play out from the back. But I don't think this is a permanent or long term reflection on the team. We are lacking confidence at the moment. A few defeats and we've lost a lot of momentum. It's gonna be hard to get that back but once we do I see normal service being resumed.
