MPH Posted 6 March 2020 Posted 6 March 2020 I have been a member of this board since 2007 and don’t think i have done a post like this before ... So last year my mum started a local charitable cause called feed the need coalville. as the name suggests, amongst other needs a food bank. it’s basically her and my stepdad and a few volunteers who help to distribute the food. Amongst other things? well during this winter they have helped pay a couple electric bills, they have helped with ladies products, basically, where there has been a need, they’ve tried to meet it. This week they are desperately short of funds. For the price of a couple of beers you can help a family have a complete meal. Every single penny you might be able to donate will go towards helping people- this is all being done by Volunteers. My mum hates asking for things but on this occasion she feels like she has to. She’s set the bar really low ( too low in my opinion) as she is only looking at immediate needs. Anyway, if anyone could spare anything, even a fiver i promise you every penny of it will go towards helping someone in need.
