Awareness of Mental Health Issues in players

Please guys be aware of the struggles of mental health issues amongst players!

Ben Chillwell has spoken about the issues and struggles he had last season at LCFC, I know you may think that there is little you as an individual could personally do about this but there is!

We as LCFC Fans should always support our own players even when its tuff and results are not so good, I don't feel that there is anything wrong with some proper criticism of a players performance but we must be careful and mindful of what we said and not go overboard with our comments on the media and forum sites as our actions may not be helpful.

I know on this forum I have seen many post about Ben Chillwell which have in some cases been way over the top even hateful and trolling of him. I have never understood why so called fans had to find a whipping boy out of their own team that they claim to support and be so abusive about him?

Let’s get real here he is England best left back and first choice in England squads for his role, so why did he leave maybe if he read some of these hateful comments from his own so called fans then even I would think i am not liked here so I may as well move on!

Knowing our fans as I do i know they will now move onto another player and make the team scapegoat?

The thing is we must all think before we post any hateful comments and try to keep it in some sort of perspective.

Agree with this. Only proper weirdos have hate for our players. Fine to criticise after a game, but abuse is for sad keyboard warriors with nothing else going on in their lives. 
 

As an aside: People who boo Leicester players during games should be made to watch Forest for a season before they’re allowed back.

Sometimes people don't know what they've got. That's how it is. I've said it before but look at how West Ham fans treated Frank Lampard. Basically drove him out the club and he became Chelsea's greatest ever player.
