If that's true, then the subversion of truth they're pushing will claim the "elites" as well as everyone else, in the end. They can't hide, as much as they might think they can.

No but I think England is more susceptible because of the language and also a more desirable target because of reasons outlined in my first post.

 

My point is that 'truth decay' is not really anything new. The English press and media arguably pioneered it.

You're certainly right there.

 

I do think both the stakes and consequences are more severe than they've ever been, though.
