The only mjor buy of the summer from them was Lita, and he doesn't seem to be having the expected impact, plus they sold players like Forster. I think their manager Coppell is vastly underrated.
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Lita started the season really well. Reading seem to have made themselves feared and quite difficult to beat, like Sheff Utd... it's a poor league to be fair, someone has to be 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.
Nationwider Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 I'm not surprised at all. They've been top 10 for the last 3 seasons in the CCC. It's the distance that they and the Blades have pulled away from 3rd which is scary. They are a very well run club with a rock-solid financial base. It's only a matter of time before they go up, and they'll be a "top-30" club for quite a while.
