If I recall correctly a company based in Heather manufactured these.

It seemed mad how they'd go to the trouble having that but then let the pitch turn into an absolute quagmire. 

 

Filbert Street in the 90s during winter time was absolutely shocking most of the time, I'd shudder to think how bad it got back in the proper old days...
