All tickets are priced £12 for adults and £6 all concessions (Under 22 and over 60's).

Tickets will be on sale to Season Ticket Holders from today (Saturday September 18).

Only the following sections of the stadium will be open for this fixture.

They are as follows:-

Alliance & Leicester East Stand - Blocks J1, J2 & J3

bmi baby North Stand - Block P2

West Stand  - Block B1,B2 & B3

Season Ticket Holders' seats are not reserved, although there will be a one week window exclusively for season ticket holders to claim the best available seats on a first come first serve basis.

General Sale commences on Saturday September 25.

This fixture could be subject to change should either team be affected by International call ups. In the event of this, the fixture will be moved back 24 hours to Monday October 4 at 7.45pm.

Final confirmation will not be available until after the outcome of the 1st round tie between Mansfield and Preston on September 22.

Confirmation will then be published on the official Club website, lcfc.com and in the Leicester Mercury.

Refunds on tickets will only be accepted up until 2.00pm on Monday October 4.

So if I go to this game, I can't sit in my ST seat. I understand why they have done this to make it easier for the stewards, but it's the first time they have done this for a competitive game.

Perhaps you'd like to comment on the following points then:

So if we got to the final you wouldn't want to go then as it would be crap

Seemed pretty good to me when we beat Middlesboro and Tranmere did you go or watch them on the box?

You wouldn't want to support the team in Europe if they won, mmm the games against Athletic and Belgrade were dire wern't they and so worthless

Did you make your own mind up about this or have you been brainwashed by the likes of Man U and the media.

Ok some of these early games can be a bit tame but don't you think that Mansfield (if it's them) would relish a game against us, same as we would against the Arse etc. So it's unfair to denigrate it.

In terms of value it's no different to winning the FA Cup or finishing 5th in the league. or would you say no to them as well?

Will we see you on here in the new year asking how you are going to get tickets or get Cardiff if LCFC reach the final :w00t:

No offence, just wondering what your reasoning was. ;)

yeh i will go to the latter stages of the cup, but the early stages are absolutel dire. I am no paying extra money to go and watch a match like that. If it was included in the season ticket i would go. Or if it was a 5 pounds for adults, 1 pound for kids fixture. But it aint. It is overpriced.

Overpriced, value for money are fair arguments, I just think you were a bit too liberal with your outright condemnation of the whole thing and the use of the phrase Worthless Cup which does clubs like ourselves no favours, after all it's pretty much all we're likely to win.

I'd rather concentrate on the league though. Lets give youngsters a chance in this competition. Give players like wright, stearman, dawson, o'grady, petrescu the chance. They can surely do better then the likes of heath, blake, etc.

I bet you weren't calling it the 'Worthless' cup when we won it, gag? Unless you were too young to remember it......

gag is ok when he dishing it out but he isnt even a loyal supporter.

Cant even believe this has cropped up.

Ill be there, loyal supporter.

You're an idiot, and i'm an idiot too cos im going to get told off for calling you that... But you are, plain and simple. £6 is NOT a lot of money to anyone, and you're only 14, so im sure you get pocket money, have a paper round or something. I mean, if not, i'm not sure how you can afford your season ticket  ... Also you started that Sheff Utd attendance thread stating that all the glory fans will be back, now to me a glory fan does exactly what you're going to do; and thats avoid paying money to see the lesser games. You also said we MUST get behind the lads... each to their own i suppose.

Do you think we'll be able to pay on the gate?

If so, I'm going as an U-22.

I would think so. Bear in mind we're playing at home 2/3 days before in the League, so I can't imagine us getting much of an attendance...
