Each year me and my mates put some dollar on our fantasy draft season, I’ve won the last few years and it’s usually down to solid Leicester picks under the radar.

This season is tricky. For reference we do it draft style so points is all that matters.

My main conundrum is when to pick up Barnes and whether to go for daka relatively early... my gut tells me I will regret not getting him in the first 3 rounds. (Top 40 picks)

the other is Ricardo/Bertrand/ castagne, I was leaning towards Riccy but the last game and half is making me think RB could be a huge point grabber

what are everyone’s thoughts? Who are the must haves?

I have a rule of thumb to never get more than one player per position (def/mid/fwd)

No expert but I think Daka will be benched quite a lot at the start of the season. For me, Barnes is a really good option with him being keen to impress Southgate before the WC next winter and I thought he looked sharp against Villarreal.

Regarding fullbacks, Bertrand is a good short-term option before Castagne comes back at 5.0m. Especially considering we have *winnable fixtures* in our first 6/7.

But yeah, I think Ricardo is a real good option as the early indicators have been really good. Plus I think he’ll have the license to attack more since our right midfielders are pretty defensively minded.

Away from Leicester, I think Shaw at 5.5m  and Raphina at 6.5m are bargains but that isn’t groundbreaking news.

Wouldn't touch any of the forwards, too much uncertainty. Barnes and Bertrand (with set pieces over Ricky and probably less popular) would be the two I'd get. You could consider Daka if he's still available into the last few rounds, I don't think he'll be that popular in drafts.
