Wilf and Soumare haven't quite got it figured out yet, Sou doesn't know how to cover for Wilf when wilf goes forward to tackle, a number of times during games, you'll see wilf as high as Madison, sometimes even ahead and the void will just be there in the middle, soumare missing, Teilemans used to be able to cover that well, the issue we had at the beginning of the season was vestergard and Betrand being absolutely dreadful but now the only issue I see is Brendan still sticking to having wilf press high up and not let him sit in front of the defense and Soumare having little to zero positional awareness and always getting turned by his man.

 

Then also

Ndidi needs to be able to break the lines more, get those passes into the middle 

Soumare needs to drive more

He has the build and skillset for it, 

This is the reason why its so easy to press us and win the ball in our half

The two infront of the defense can't get the ball forward

Its always sideway passes and passes straight into the defense

 

When it was Ndidi alone infront of the defense 

And Teilemans and Maddison were up

There were so many pass options upfront, but now with the set up we play with now, Madison is the only option and the opposition know this, so they crowd him out
