i am going to be buying a fish tank in a few weeks and was just wondering if anyone else has one?

if so.......

What type is it? (cold water tank/ tropical tank)

What type of fish do you have and how many?

If anyone can suggest any really good fish for a cold water tank then do tell

I have a 13litre aquarium with built in pump, light and filter. Garden centres sell them for under £30. I have 5 fish in mine which is probably too many but my pond went stagnant so had to rescue the 2 large fish and put in tank. I have 2 mirrocarp and 3 goldfish one of which is huge.

I have a Lizard aquarium with a lizard in it and occasionally locusts.

It's bloody massive.

I'll see if Nick fancies sticking some fish in there with him.

I've got a 3 foot tropical tank. Although my Mum would say she's got a three foot tropical tank as I moved out 4 years ago and she's still got it

Get the biggest tank you can afford (at least 48" x 12" x 18"). If cash is short then start off cold and buy the heating and lighting when you can.

Or look around for a second hand set up, as lots of people think it's a great idea then get bored.

Id love a fish tank in my uni room!! With all the lights n all. Or maybe it would be better in the kitchen...gonna suggest it. There are 8 of us and we could split the cost nicely!!!

i did have a fish tank a while ago but for some reason i had really bad luck with fish and they kept dying so i just decided to forget about it
