We wont have a striker scoring 1 every 5 the way we play, nevermind every game! Having to play off Dion fricking Dublin, useless old man please retire. Its really ruining our club
Scow Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Always impressed me when I've seen him play - Technically very good on the ball, plenty of pace, and a decent finisher. He's got a good partnership with Helguson, little and large, except Helguson has more pace and agility than Dublin.....

Buzzell Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Ex Man U youth player. Didnt see much in him really untill he started smashing in goals left, roght and centre. He deffinetly needs to move on to become better, unless Watford get promoted. Also one player that has impressed me is Nathan Ellington. I said at the start of the season we should have got this lad. He is amazing at the minute, he cant stop scoring! Unlucky that we havnt got a striker like these two aye!

It aint adams fault dublin and connoly are misfiring. When they were signed i could hear some people saying that they were better then dickov and deane. But for some reason it has not worked. I could see glimpses that williams is coming out of his shell. But adams needs to sort his midfield out, he needs to play a ball winner. I can't understand why joey is not being given a chance. I would prefere joey, williams, and nalis all playing. Also keown, dabizaz, and heath/elliot playing. The only way we can do this is by playing a 3-5-2. Which is better suited to our players. this way we dont need to play stewart or wilcox. tiatto left wing back. canero/makin right. the 3 centre midfielders mentioned above. with scowy and connoly/wright up-front

Scow Posted 24 September 2004 Posted 24 September 2004 I don't think any City fan is in a position to be arrogant at the minute. And although we are a 'bigger club' than Wigan, that doesn't give me any consolation in our current predicament. We punched above our weight in the Premiership under MON, and we were beating bigger, and supposedly better clubs than us every other week. Wiagn deserve to be where they are. Size doesn't come in to it.
