Anyone been to see something here?

Looking at a Christmas production at one of the theatres in the city for a bit of festive fun and they have a production of Aladdin on.

Is the stuff they put on usually decent or should I stick to the more expensive stuff at Curve?

My  Missus dragged me there a few weeks ago to watch an Agatha Christie play called Black Coffee. It was my first time in any Theatre and I really enjoyed it. We plan to go back when something else interesting comes on. Nice venue with lots of charm.

For an amateur theatre, it's quite outstanding. You'll have as much (more) fun there in a small venue as you'll have at The Curve but admittedly without "showbiz names".

I have a relative that helps out with sound & lighting here so know how much hard work goes in to the productions, largely by volunteers - if you haven't been give it a try!
